Based in the Mexican Caribbean, we specialize in creating personalized underwater photography experiences in the Riviera Maya, including Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Cancun, and Tulum.

From the crystal-clear waters of ancient cenotes to the colorful marine environments of the Caribbean Sea, we transform extraordinary natural locations into settings for unique photographic experiences.

Whether you’re looking for an artistic underwater portrait, a romantic couples photoshoot, a mermaid-inspired experience, or professional diving photography, our goal is to create images that reflect your personality, imagination, and connection with the water.

Our story begins with a passion for exploration.

As part of the creative experience behind Mexplor, our photography is inspired by years of traveling, diving, discovering cultures, and exploring natural environments around the world.

With travel experience across more than 30 countries, over 200 scuba dives, freediving training, and a background in nature and underwater photography, we have developed a deep appreciation for the relationship between people, water, light, and movement.

These experiences inspired us to approach underwater photography differently.

Instead of simply taking pictures beneath the surface, we create personalized sessions where the location, lighting, movement, and individual story come together.

Every photoshoot becomes an opportunity to discover a new perspective, express creativity, and experience the natural world in an unforgettable way.

We specialize in creating artistic photographs that combine these elements with the beauty of Mexico’s underwater environments.

My work combines photography, video, drone footage, and visual storytelling to document moments that not only look beautiful, but also communicate emotion, atmosphere, and purpose.

Throughout different projects, I have worked in natural settings such as cenotes, reefs, beaches, jungles, and cultural spaces, creating content for tourism experiences, water activities, portraits, events, retreats, and travel-related brands.

We understand that every person has a different relationship with water and photography.

Some clients are experienced divers or confident swimmers. Others are exploring underwater photography for the first time.

That’s why our sessions begin with understanding your ideas, goals, and comfort level.

We work with you to develop the photographic concept, select a suitable location, discuss styling, and plan an experience appropriate to your abilities.

During the session, we provide guidance on underwater positioning, natural movement, and posing, with time for preparation and breaks.

Our approach combines artistic direction, professional photography, and careful consideration of underwater safety.

The result is more than a collection of photographs. It’s a personal experience designed around you.
